I don't know if I have one of the new ones are not, but I do not have to screw in my Master to charge.

Then you have a new one

How does that work? If the "old" cable has to screw into the controller to charge it, how can a new one not do that, unless there's another part that gets screwed in and left there or something?

I just partially push mine in and it charges.

I was told today XP has a new 3 piece charging cord for the XP Deus 11 Does anyone have them ? The one part of the cords plugs into the controller. The other two parts plugs into the head phones and the Charging Clip . You no longer have to screw the one part into the controller
If you have one how do you like it ?
Mine screws in, which is a pain, it's also difficult to get that clip to actually charge the coil, anyone else have a problem with that ?

I think you can just push it in and as long as it makes a connection it will charge, although mine has a screw, I'm not sure it wouldn't work without actually screwing it in..

I wouldn't want to risk a loose connection or short or something. I always screw mine in, and only after it's secure, plug it into a power source. Maybe overly cautious but it's a pricey piece of kit so I'd rather be careful.

Do you have a photo of that connection? I'm curious.

Mine also Robert

I noticed the coil cover helps guide the clip, I was using without the cover at first and it took some tweaking to get it to charge but since I put the cover it goes right on.
