The sunstone mines charge a fee for large sunstones. The smaller ones are free. I don't know if/what she paid for that large stone. I also found it interesting that in the very beginning of the sunstones episode, Becky asked the owner of the mine what she could expect to find and what color she might find. His gesture and comments exactly matched what she ultimately found. Coincidence or plant?
