Hello fellow TH'ers. Thought I'd introduce myself and let you know a little bit about me..... I've been treasure hunting since 1972. I like any type of treasure hunting and have done just about all forms of TH'ing except deep sea diving.
My first detector was a D-Tex that I bought from Bill Mahan. It was a basic detector with no discrimination so I did a lot of digging but also found a lot of good stuff along the way. In the late 70's & early 80's I bought a keene engineering 6" dredge with a Hookah diving system and worked old swimming lakes, beaches and rivers. That was a lot of fun and pretty lucrative also. Today since I'm a lot older (69) I do a lot of coin hunting and relic hunting. I'm using a Garrett AT Max at the present time. You know, after all the years that I've been TH'ing I still get a thrill of digging a silver coin out of the earth or that rare Civil War belt buckle.
I look forward to sharing my finds and TH'ing tips that I've learned along the way with you. Years ago I learned that research is the key to better finds which I'm sure most of you already know. Happy TH'ing and be safe. No treasure is worth your life!
Remember my friends, it all won't be found in our lifetime!
