Hello friends:hello:,

I've wanted to take up the hobby for years. I just purchased a Fisher F70.. still doing a lot of reading and finding out what the local laws say about md. So if you have any words of wisdom for me or even experience metal detecting on Texas beaches, please feel free to give me your sage advise.

Hello and welcome from florida.

Hello and welcome to TreasureNet.

Stay out of the State Parks and off P.I.N.S.S.S.

City and county parks have their own rules, so you will have to look them up.

Welcome aboard from the great state of Pennsylvania (USA).

You might consider browsing Sub-Forums: Texas for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state.

Thanks all,, I appreciate the welcome aboard...

Welcome, you should be OK following CactusRat's advice on Texas beaches. The lakes depend on who manages them, some are off limits, others require a permit, and some are wide open.
