I have a friend who is splitting up an old house into apts. and the house is like from 1890 and has a dirt floor in part of the basement. I am headed there this a.m. for the first time to check it out. I also have permission to hunt the entire yard but there is still a foot of snow out there. We are in Northern Nebraska and I am really psyched to see what might be there. I only have a Bounty hunter IV but I'll hunt anything that rings up. If I find anything good, I'll have my son and daughter show me how to post a couple pictures.

new spot...dud spot. The dirt basement was a small area of crawl space that gave up a pound of rusty nails, a rusty hacksaw blade and a couple of old screw-in fuses. I tried a small grassy area in the yard and after bending my digging tool trying to get at the targets, I got all of two cents for 15 minutes work in the frozen ground. I did do a walk around and found lots of targets to check when the weather is better. Will put on some pics of the house this afternoon. Sorry for the poor results.
