Did my research during the week , got my print out and headed out this morning .. I had three places in mind to hit up for some good ole door knocking. Most of the time it takes great effort many places and alot of talking to get in the door of a good place, I have had days where I had to hit 12 to 13 house before I got a yes . But today first house ran into luck and meet a nice home owner who said ive got 3 acres , 2 acres of fields and 1 acre of manicured grass your welcome to hit the fields but not the manicured grass , so I will talk him in to letting me hit the manicured grass next time im there so I settled for the fields exspecially after he told me his buddy found three springfield riffle barrels there ... So I hit it for few hours through some tall grass and the ticks I managed (5) C.W bullets all .58 cals and one percusion cap holder and got a nice 1942 nickel which was silver alloy and I found another one but cant make out a date and a little brass top from Park & Tilford . So all in all was a good day ! Thanks for a looking !
