Found A new site that im definitely going back to, I picked around A little here where it would benefit, but I only had my shooter coil on. Looking for it I figured it would be all overgrown and could just detect A little, if any when I would find it. On arrival I noticed it sits back pretty far from the trail, and all the woods are clear of shrubbery. So I did what I could with my small coil close to the cellar walls and such. Found plenty of scrap copper for the scrap yard, A 1884 and 1881 Indians, (the merc and other Indian were found 2 days ago) A 1909 (no vbd) wheaty and A nice 1892 Barber Quarter :headbang: my first barber Quarter in the 1800s  also found a nice rosette that cleaned up pretty good.
yes, ill have to grid the whole front section between the trail and cellar hole with a bigger coil.
enjoy,

Nice finds and nice Barber!! :icon_thumright: :headbang:

Looks like the coil worked out well for you. Site looks very promising.

Good luck with the next hunt there !!

Thanks Everyone :hello: Yeah when I saw that glimmering edge sticking out of the clump I did the happy dance before I even knew what it was, I was expecting seated, but this will due :laughing9: The zippo is most likely toast, I openned the top, but the bottom section wont budge, most likely lost by A hunter,
This site is about a half mile hike past another site I hunt. Ive looked A few times for it but never ventured far enough till today. Its hard to tell if the site has been pounded or not, I only had my small coil, if the site was hit by bigger coils then these items would have been missed anyway, close to rocks, stumps, etc...etc..., Ill know when I head back and spend more time there.
thanks again,
Pro-
