Well, maybe not quite a record but I can't recall a single hunt where I've found this many coins...even a silver! Everything from George II to an Indian Head. A couple are in decent condition and the 10 cent would be mint if it hadn't come out of the ground. Also got a few buttons, an ink well and a handfull of relics including a nice crotal bell and what may be a black powder measure. The tiny porcelain baby is beyond small...

The best of the day was chatting with the land owner who gave me lot's of intel for future hunts. Fun day!

That's a great Vicky dime. Canadian Victorian Silver is very tough to coax out of the ground, get more spanish.
And the baby, baby is pretty cool.

The inkwell actually came from a different site than the rest of the finds. I was checking out another area to see if the plow had been through which is close to an abandoned falling down house. The house has been vacant since the 1970s and has been falling into the ground since then. This past summer I was able to get a lightning rod off the roof and was waiting for the structure to fall a little more to get a second rod. When I arrived yesterday the entire area had been bulldozed...but somehow this inkwell survived intact...an amazing find considering!

Man what a hunt that must have been, I love days like that. The little doll figure is awesome and I like the fact that DW Dirt Whisperer found one too. Very very cool. Epic hunt my friend, Congrats.
