This artifact was given to me for Christmas. It says that it is "mound (grove) spear from Oklahoma. Anybody have any suggestions?

I have a friend that collects South of the border. The workmanship and exotics are exquisite . I had posted some of his exotics and effigies and a set of knifes that were used in a ceremonial sacrifice published in Time life . It sounds like you have narrowed your search down on the point in question.
