New Place yields old pocket spill (8 oldies) and more. 15 Wheats, 4 Silver, IH's

Hello everyone, Just received permission to hunt a new farm house which is for sale. It's out in the country and back a long lane. Kind of spooky back there by yourself The home owner said the house is late 1800's early 1900's. Spent 6 hours there today. My best find so far was here. I found a total of 8 coins. , 1901 being the oldest. These kind of finds are so exciting , especially when all of the coins are oldies. The huge hole I dug consisted of: 2 IH's ( 1901, 1902), 1905 Barber, 2 Mercs (1920, 1923) and 3 old wheat's ( 1918,1919, and a 1920. The rest of the wheat's were: 3 1919's , 1-1918, 1-1920, 2-1926, 1-1934, 1-1937, 1-1938, 1-1946, 1-1950D, 1-1951, 2-1953D, and 1-1956. Found 2 Buffalo's with the dates barley visible: 1915, 1916. Found the 1905 Barber, 1-1920 Merc, 1-1923 Merc and a 1954 Rossie. Also found a 1940 nickle, and a 1970 nickle. Found an old shotgun shell bottom, a gold plated?, an old key, and an Iron thingy which resembles the lower part of someones teeth No idea what it is. Found a lot of older memorials and clad dimes.

Thats what I need to do lots of old properties up our way and several I can hunt but need a good line lol. Want to go back where I deer hunt there looked to be several old wells around a pushed in (bulldozer ) I think brick house up in a woods along a crick. Worried brush maybe to thick and skeeters, but hopefully by next wed Iam gonna hit it. Saw someone swinging at my fairgrounds yest, that dirty dog lol.

Plenty of vacant , unsold homes around here. I like them because it's easy to get on and you don't have anyone watching over your shoulders. However I do have luck asking people too.

Great finds!.....excellent!......I was hoping this question's reply was gonna be public as I am sure that a lot of people would be very interested to hear what you might say to a realtor, I know I sure would.

O.K., now I need to scold you on something, lol.......please, PLEASE do not rub your silver coins as they come out of the ground......silver is very soft and it leaves lots of hairline scratches when you do that and although there are not any key dates in this lot I guarantee the day will come where you pull a very valuable silver coin from the ground and I just don't want to see you damage it. When I see that it's like fingernails on a blackboard to me.......

Who, Me I love finding vacant property's, as there are many around. Don't have to deal with any kids, etc: I just call the owner'realtor and give them the lline

Most of the finds were out in the front yard and the side, which is not pictured. I generally don't hunt around old barns too much because of all the junk iron I usually find
