So my buddy (DW Dirt Whisper) found another dumpsite in the most unusually place, right in the middle of an industrial area.
Well, I had to take a look and at first glance was a little skeptical... Leaving the beast in the car I decide to take a walk and see what I could find. There was plenty of glass but no purple anywhere to be found. As I walked the empty lot I could see amongst the trash, bottle caps, cans and multiple broken blue glass embossed with milk of magnesia on it. A little research tells me this area is possible a 20's or 30's dumpsite.
With further recon, I immediately spotted a foreign coin sitting right on top... It's a 1944 1 franc... Yeah boy! First coin! Starting to change my mind... I make another discovery, a couple of buckles, a 50cal bullet, a lead solider and a WWII dog tag! So... By this time I take out the best... A couple scans over the dirt pile and I hit an iffy signal over the iron and bottle cap riddled area. I then pull out what looks like a small pin. A closer look reveals a 1930 Texas chauffeurs badge. Ok, I'm done... Have to wait for DW so we can hunt it together, lol!
Enjoy pics!
