I see the Gator is chewing again! lolI had a harbor Freight for one day until it broke.. That was when I first started detecting and that was only digging relatively few targets after a couple hours those are fine if you're going to be gently hunting a park or something they can't handle any pressure you can't get them wet their depth stinks and they only have tip detection .. You get what you pay 4 that's why it's 18 dollars
Hay, its a pinpointer, not a digger. When the tip gets NEAR the target it sounds off. You are not suppose to dig with it until it sounds off! It has a sensitive adjustment knob in case you haven't noticed. I can adjust mine from contact to about 3". Mine is a couple of years old. Never failed to find the target rapidly like all the rest. But I only paid about $16 and don't abuse it.
