New permission

So, my daughter rides horses on a beautiful farm in the Shenandoah valley in Virginia about a half hour from our house. I have become friendly with the owners, because, well, they are just nice people. I had my new puppy with me the other day, and I mentioned that she like to "help" me dig when I go metal detecting. The owner got a funny look, and asked if I would like to check out a civil war camp site on their place. They only let one person ever look there, and werent happy with the condition things were left, with uncovered holes, etc., so they never let anybody else in. I am beyond excited to poke around, but we are in the middle of a foot of snow. Come on warmer weather! This will be my first time looking around here, and I am beyond excited! Will post up if I find anything of interest
