New old farm permission, couple old buttons, maybe a old military ?(help id)

Ended up knocking on a gigantic farm today, the old guy said yes, but we pounded this place for years. I only had about an hour and managed a couple old flat buttons from the field.
Any help ID ing this little button would be greatly appreciated?

Thanks buddy, we will find out, I only have approximately 6000 acres left to hunt, I wonder if anyone missed anything? Haaaaaaaaaaaaa lol I have come to believe that farmers and crop workers have dropped a few coins randomly all over farms.


I have seen it allot here in South Jersey. The backmark on the Navy button has "treble gilt" and something that ends with a H (about 4 or five letters?)


Maybe I'll find some earlier military buttons here too? Thanks

The way it's explained to me is that on average since the beginning one coin was dropped per year by each farmer and worker. So that's a hell of a lot of coins. But they figure we only find about 20% of what's in the dirt at a site. Still a serious amount of killer oldies bud. You've got your work cut out. Hope to see some early ones

You'll do awesome there if you just keep plugging away buddy. Find a couple random iron patches in the fields and dig em out. I have to get away from that iron sometimes. Gives me a damn headache
