Hey Hawk: I Live in Texas now, but lived all my life in Tennessee just 20 mi down the road in Milledgeville. I moved to Texas in 1999 and started detecting in 2002. My Grandfather was on the 1928 Purdy basketball team that won the state.(He was the guard because he was short and fast). I just returned from Christmas with the family and I now know why I only found Clad at the Purdy cemetery. You had already been there!! Well I gotta go make a living, but I hope to hear from ya soon. I would like to discuss some ideas I have about hunting around Purdy. CAB

Welcome to TreasureNet!

You have some good finds under your belt, I see. You also seem interested in being able to ID everything you find--which is very important (and at times, tough to do). A lot of valuable relics lay unrecognized in junk boxes or thown away by detectorists every year.

Best Wishes to you.
