Hey everyone I'm Dave aka LordDean13. I use to metal detect when I was younger and just restarted to take up the hobby again. I have what I think is a good and affordable metal detector (which I would like some feedback on) a Bounty Hunter Pioneer 505 with the 8" and 4" coils. I decided to get back into the hobby after getting my BA in History. I have become a huge fan of pre-Columbian, colonial, and civil war history after learning about it. I moved to Pennsylvania from New York City because of the historic preservation all over the state. Which is a huge contrast to NYC where the history is covered up and destroyed to build new housing developments or sky scrapers. If anyone in the South Eastern parts of Pennsylvania wants to get together and get some relic hunting done give me a call. I would love to find some pre-Columbian Susquehannock or Lenape sites and artifacts.
