Hi everyone, new member here from soon to be frozen northern Michigan. Sites like this keep me going until spring hunting again
. I have a Minelab e-trac detector and love the history that goes along with metal detecting. I love looking at old maps and taking pics of old sites as well. I guess I like the seek and destroy part of treasure hunting. What I mean is finding something on a old map or getting a tip from one of the old timers and seeking it out and actually finding something there. That is some of the thrill for me. I enjoy any type of treasure hunting but metal detecting is all I am involved in right now. Would love to explore privy hunting as it looks pretty exciting. Thanks all and HH.
