Hello fellow treasure hunters,
I found this site after seeing a link to it from another forum I post on called
antique-bottles.net. I have been detecting since I was 12 after receiving a radio shack detector for xmas...I think I found all of the pop tops in my Southern California home town of Simi Valley. After a stint in the Military, I grew up and purchased a Whites Surf Master II amphibian detector with the dive shaft and have been diving it in fresh water in NH since 1993. I primarily dive for antique bottles but will detect lakes and rivers too. five years ago I purchased another Whites, a Classic5 id that I now use for land detecting in the spring and fall along with a Garrett 300 Treasure Ace as my back up detector. I have a ton of photos to share of my diverse finds and I look forward to making friends in the New England area as I usually land detect alone but always u/w detect with a partner. This is a photo of me on the left and my partner on the right in northern VT prior to a dive in Lake Willoughby.
