New Madrid/Number Ten Island

Hi,

I've started doing a ittle research on the battle of Island Number Ten (a.k.a. Number Ten Island). Has anyone hunted this area before? Or perhaps around New Madrid?

i to have wanted to explore the battle of new Madrid i stay in covington tn. i have a boat and have been thinking about taking a trip up there sence the river is low it would be a good time to search the sand bars an islands.
