Land-Mag. found us some ploughed land that had its crop destroyed because of some kinda weed infestation. (thanks to him for this opportunity)

Its was :icon_sunny: :icon_sunny: :icon_sunny: :icon_sunny: :icon_sunny: :P & we only lasted 2.5 hours.

We explored all over to find any encouraging signs but there were none, I was extremely lucky to pull out a random Medieval Ring which had an eagle feeding its young. So it wasn't a wasted effort. :icon_thumright:

Neat looking ring Cru. :icon_thumright:

It was 88.6 at 11:30 Pm in the computer room last night. :P

:laughing9: you win, just remember, I prefer rain, & never would dream of a holiday in the sun, unless on a muddy field

I see all the world is gradually turning into one big Oz ;D
Lucky you, you're not even counting 'Vickies' this time. The ring is rich in symbolics and very beautiful :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright:

Nice finds Cru, I love the ring and the spoon looking thing. The ring looks like it's made of iron . . . was it fairly common to plate gold onto forged iron 500 years ago? ???

If there's any trading going on, I'm all in for the drizzle, wind, foggy, muddy, 5lb muddy boots, 2 lb muddy coil anytime! :hello2:
Still 3 months to go before clay and coil meet again. :icon_thumright:

Congrats Cru :icon_thumright:
Can you a sharper picture of the ring?

Its a copper-alloy core, might have some iron mixed in.

I guess that if I'd been in the ground for almost 500 years I'd be a little rusty too eh! :D Thanks for the follow up.
