Hit a spot that belongs to a 200+ year old church. First time at this location for me and within the first 50 feet from the truck, I got a pocket spill, two wheaties, a no date SLQ, and a 1939 Washington. I proceeded to pull a 1902 Barber dime and a 1941 D Mercury dime. I then pulled a holed 1803 Draped Bust LC that also appears to be scalloped on the bottom. No string this time. About an hour later I found the find of the day, a NJ copper, I believe it is a 1785, as you can clearly see a 5. Vino said there is a NJ Copper expert on TNET who can help further identify the variety, please speak up, I can't wait to hear what you have to say. This is my first colonial issued coin! I am ecstatic. I continued to pull a 1945 Washington, and a silver kids ring with hot air balloons. Lastly, I pulled an "annual encampment" badge that says BELEGATE at the top I believe. Any insight on this would be awesome too. Thanks for looking.

That was one outstanding hunt! All great finds, but I especially love the badge. What a neat piece of history.

Thank you, it's funny, when I left the field the NJ copper was my favorite find, it wasn't until I got home and cleaned up the badge that I changed my mind, but they are both cool

Nice variety of finds spanning 200 years. Great job on that copper, and I like that reunion badge too.
