New hunter from Dallas Texas!

Hello everyone!

After much nagging from my son I have come around and purchased my first metal detector,the Garrett ATP with the pro Pointer arriving in a couple days.
The weather is looking pretty good this weekend which will provide a good start for the new hobby which from what I read can be addicting

Looks towards learning much and contributing to the community.

Absolutely, I may contact my buddy at the city to see where he can get me to permissions to hunt (abandoned properties),if you have leads or property permissions we can trip your way to hunt as well on the weekends.
