New hundred dollar bill

Consecutive

Damn! I can't wait until my banks get them. Called around more today and still nobody had them. This Saturday I'll go on a new hundred dollar bill road trip. If you find a low serial new hundred, it will be worth THOUSANDS. If you find a star, it will be worth a little more too (usually star notes aren't worth more then face, but in this case they will be for a shot while while they are still uncirculated.) And any bill with the serial 00000001 will go for over $10,000. I know it's a needle in a haystack, but it will still be a fun thing to do. And the nice part about looking for rare hundreds, as well as CRHing, is that if you don't find anything, you still have all your money at the end of the day. You're just out the gas. But every hobby has costs, and our only one is gas :P

That is so awesome, Omega! Would you mind telling what bank name it was from, so if we have one of their branches near-by, we know there might be a better chance of getting the new bills there?

Lol just sold 2 for 270! hahaha this is unbelievable. Wells Fargo! haha

I'm happy for you!
And thanks for sharing the bank name - I know I'll be checking for a local one :)

I have to make dumps at 3 more wells fargos so I'll see if they have more. Hopefully they do. I'll let you guys know if I get any more. :D

Two banks in my town have them! (I called to check) Now I have to wait an hour for lunch break before I can go! :))

I mean its cool if you can get $150, $130 or heck even $101 for them. But it seems like a lot of risk of them getting "Lost in the mail" when selling on eBay.

Naaa, if you can make $30 on $100 you only need to succeed just over 70% of the time to make money, which they obviously will.

And omega insurance of $400 doesn't matter. I'm fairly certain that through both eBay and USPS you can't insure money.

That's whats good about having the kind of feedback omega has, ebay knows he ain't gonna pull no scam.

Unfortunately eBay does not take a seller's feedback into account in buyer protection cases. The only thing that matters is delivery confirmation for items with a total selling price (including shipping cost) of $249.99 or less and signature confirmation for items with a total selling price (including shipping cost) of $250 or more. If you do not have the applicable one for your sale, the buyer will win no matter what your feedback is. eBay always wants to side with the buyer. And the previous poster is correct about the USPS insurance. Its useless for cash. You mine as well save the five bucks or whatever it costs. The reason they won't insure cash is because they want you to buy a postal money order instead of mailing the cash.

Selling cash that is not old (like $500 and $1000 bills, and stuff like red seals and silver certificates) is one of the riskiest things to do on eBay. Beware of brand new buyers that have registered within the last month or buyers with less then 10 feedbacks. Also buyers can no longer receive negative feedback from a seller. So a buyer with 100% feedback could very easily be a scammer, because positive feedback is all a buyer can receive.

Hope anybody that is going to sell cash on eBay has no problems. Good luck.
