new guy here

Hi Everybody,I'm new to artifact hunting and to the forum.I'm impressed by how friendly everyone is,and how knowledgeable.I live in S.Central Ar,in farming country,and this is the first year that I have hunted artifacts as a hobby.A few friends hunt,and have shared some of their places,and I have found some of my own.None of them have ever done any research,but I'm curious about these ancient people,thus finding this forum.Around here,the best time of year to hunt is about over,the crops are up and it has about quit raining.I do have a couple of places that have late beans,but needs to be rained on bad.There must have been a vast civilization here,and even with my inexperience,I'm pretty sure that I have found different generations of artifacts at the same site.I'm trying to keep my finds separated by the sites that they came from,at least until I learn more about them.I have found about five dozen artifacts so far this year,and I have also found a couple of things that I will need help identifying,but those will have to wait until I learn to post pics.You Guys and Gals have some great sites and have posted some great finds.I look foreward to seeing everyones finds,and usually visit Treasurenet every night.
I posted this introduction here,because this is my main interest,if its the wrong place,please feel free to move it. Thanks for having me,I will have lots of questions,later. Lightman
