New Guy From Alaska!

Hey Guys and Gals. I am located in Fairbanks, AK. Moved up here from Tacoma, WA about 6 months ago. I am Active Duty Army. When I first got up here I wanted to go gold panning to see how it was but the Summer was not the greatest last year. I just purchased my first Metal Detector, a Teknetics Euroteck Pro with a Pin Pointer. It should arrive tomorrow and I am planning an all day out event on Saturday around the area. I have been reading up on all the info, help and stories of others which should help greatly when I go out. Thanks and I look forward to talking to yall and hopefully meeting some that are in my area.
