New guy finds stuff first day out

Hello from Southern California!

Brand new treasure hunter here, been wanting to try it out and finally Santa came through for me. I also went to the GPAA, Gold &Treasure Expo today and when I got home I decided I would try out my new detector at the local park. Played around in the bark area of the playground and came up with this! It sure is fun hearing the beep and then finding things hidden from sight, kinda like fishing and I love fishing!!!!

Love the site and love reading and seeing everyone's finds. Hope 2013, is kind to all you treasure hunters!!

OH it's much better than fishing, you go fishing, you know what you're going to get, fish (or nothing), go MDing, and you just never know what will pop out.
