Hello all. Figured I would stop in and introduce myself.
Not much to say really. I am moving to New Mexico here in a week or so and cant wait to get there. Weather is more up my ally and plus I hear the rockhounding and gold panning cant be beaten. well some say that. lol. I just hear there are alot of good stuff here to be found along with some lost treasures. I know I will be spending alot of time in the plains and desert areas as well as in I want to say the Sandia Mountains. So we will see how it goes when I get there.

Anyone have any tips on camping in the areas around Albuquerque? I like to camp primitive without tents and such. Any good areas to be alone out that way without getting in trouble?
