New From CT

Hi all,
My name is John from CT. Im new to treasure hunting and metal detecting of all kinds. Im excited to get started and will be picking up a metal detector shortly and may even need some guidance on picking one out. I have been reading through some threads and stories posted on here and am excited to get started once the weather breaks here in CT. I love to be outside and walk trails so I think this will be a great new hobby for my girlfriend and I.

P.s Im new to forums so please forgive me for any future mess ups or miss posts.....

Hi John, welcome!! I don't know where you are in CT but there is a used Garrett AT Pro for sale in West Hartford on craigslist. It is for sale for $350 asking price which is excellent for these machines which are quite popular among detector users. I'd go for it myself if I didn't already have one.
