Do you know what it is? It looks like a button, but I cannot say for sure without knowing the size. Nice find.

It is a button, "shot gun rifle" but i do not know the two symbols on each side. I have a large collection of remington buttons, but do not think this one is related

All I can see are the "shotgun rifle 12 ga" on the button.

The 12 indicates the size of the shotgun. The ga stands for guage

Button for perhaps some kind of shooting jacket or vest,gun club jacket maybe.Stating the obvious,I know but nobody else mentioned it,so. Nice find and in good shape too.

Had it been a button for a rifle type it would have listed a CAL and not a GA
