I just got my new fisher f44 detector in the mail yesterday and couldn't wait to use it. I took it out today for the first time at a local school I've hunted before (hunted 4 hours). I managed to get 8.30$ in clad (the most I ever got in one hunt) and got my very first silver. I was swinging along the cement and got a quarter signal, looked down and there was a silver ring looking back at me. I could't believe I finally got a piece of silver!!!! Most of the clad I found were surface quarters. It was unbelievable the amount of quarters I found by the school's baseball field. Anyway, hope everyone else is having good finds. HH and have a great day, Zach.

Congratz man! I can't wait to get a F44 myself!

Nice Zack! Congrats on the silver ring.

Great ! That machine will pay for itself in no time at that rate

Nice day with the new detector. Looks like a class ring from 1961 maybe. What detector did the F44 replace?

Its a great machine, I'm sure you will enjoy using it. The only thing I'm having trouble with is the pinpoint feature. I always seem to miss the target by a few inches. I'll get the hang of it soon hopefully LOL. HH and have a great day, Zach.

Nice haul and congrats on your first silver! Well done! :headbang:

Thats what I was thinking. On the inside of the ring its marked BP, initials maybe?? The F44 replaced my bounty hunter discovery 1100. HH and have a great day, Zach.

Congrats on the ring!
It is not very old though. It being my age proves it.:laughing7:
Great find and the new machine seems to be a success.

BP Sterling shows up on a couple other class rings of the era.

Britannia Purity, might be a standard of quality of silver.

Great hunt! Congrats on the ring. Hope you and your new machine have many more good finds together. HH

Nice class ring! You might be able to research who lost it and have a nice return.
