Okay,, did a little research on the antique cosmetics compact I recovered last week. It was made by Scovill for the Melba Mfg Co. Unusual rectangular shape made in 1925. Very interesting.

Beef with broccoli and garlic soy sauce over a bed of fried rice....pretty simple meal but way yummy. Just have to get out of my chair and make it is the hard part after working all day.

How do you fry rice?

pre cook the rice, add veggies of your liking (onion, peas, carrots, bean sprouts, water chestnuts, etc), seasoning (garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, salt, pepper, sesame seed) and a couple eggs and stir fry

--OR--

Go to the restaurant and get take out?

Either way, I am LAST

always take essentials.. and follow the Golden Rule when there are others hunting in the same area.

And if they don't leave.....your shovel can do more than dig holes!

I would be thrilled to have my first metal detector!

Take two sticks same length......cross them......walk around your yard and if the top stick moves you've found your detector. If you reach China before it moves.....find some new sticks.
