Not to get all serious on everyone, but yesterday evening my dog somehow dug under the fence and got out. It was a sleepless and tearful night for my family as I drove countless miles looking for her. This mid morning I got a call from a good samaritan who found her, but she had been attacked by a coyote. Fortunately my girl is a fighter and survived, but she will be healing for a while.

It got me thinking about how we never know what day may be the last for something that we take for granted....or even what day may be our last. So hug the ones you love today because life is unpredictable.

Ok.....that being said, I am now the last in this contest. But frankly, if I have the opportunity to be last again tomorrow, next week, or however long this thread stays active, I'll be thankful for each of those days.

Happy you found your pup. I have a few and would get kicked out if they got lost. And sometimes its nice to be last......
