Long day. As I was getting ready to go feed the birds, I got a call from a guy from Rixford, Pennsylvania. He got my phone number off a band on one of my birds. It is one of the birds that I let out on Memorial Day. I dropped everything and went and picked up the bird. I put it in quarantine, gave it food and water, and meds.
I'm going to really have to keep an eye on it for a few days.

Well Sam,, it's not that simple. First of all, they were quite impressed with how pretty and how tame the bird was. They didn't realize that the bird was dehydrated, starved, and weak. I will monitor the bird over the next few days.

I have a bird that I think is a wood pecker for the last couple weeks I can hear in pecking on the top of a steel telephone pole it could have covid then another one that keeps flying into my window then my car window then my neighbors car window, and the Wife has been pooped on by birds twice this week..They are crazy lately and one built a nest right by the window they did it really quick then a week later I see it on the ground it fell or was knocked down..
