Here's my 2007 totals to date so far for reference.
89 hours hunt time
3129 coins found
$236.78 value
I have had 14 - 100 plus coin days including two 200 plus days.
One day high = 243
One day low = 43
Like I said in the first post, I plan to be out there for 6 hours each day covering the woodchips only and then moving on the a different school. I should get 4-1/2 to 5-1/2 hours hunt time in each day.

BDoo doesn't list his detector type, so I don't know if he has multiple detectors or not, but your idea of a driver Sherm got me thinking perhaps he should have a caddy with him. Think about it, a big 30 gallon trash barrel, with wheels of course, full of various makes and models of detectors. Then when they arrive at a location the caddy could suggest the detector to be used "BDoo, I recommend the DFX in the woods chips" or "Looks like we have a thick grassy field with 8-12 inches of rich dark loam below, you'd better go with the Tesoro BDoo". Plus the caddy can discard all the excavated refuse into the roaming barrel. It would be quite a site and could put our hobby in the same league and status that golfers enjoy. Actually there are some similarities, MD'ers and Golfers both play on grass, we both sometimes get stuck in the rough, they get down on their knees to study the slope of the green, we get down on our knees to pull out the green, they create divots, we create core holes. See not so different. The Caddy could keep him well hydrated and double as the chauffeur too.

LOL@ Johnny,what a very imaginative idea. The sides of it could have different zipper compartments for clad,junk jewlery and keepers,in addition I think a holster for a pinpointer would be nice. Well Im not really much of a gambler Bdoo but Im going to take a chance here and guess in at 237 coins with one gold and one silver ring as well as a 14kt charm and a lot of junk jewlery and pulltabs,HH...Shoot

My calculation(guess) - 393 with a grand total of $25.12. It's simple - just take your last two hunts and find a rate for both coins and totals. Then multiple the rate by estimated time you will hunt times two.
You aren't going to be skipping over foil and rings just to get the clad are you?
