Today has been my best one day silver total, beating my previous best silver day of 7 that included a babies Sterling bracelet. That can be seen here:

Today started at an athletic field about 30 miles away. The ground has some turn of the 20th century history to it but not much old stuff popped up besides one wheatie from the 30s.
The .925 ring came near one of the fences about 2 inches down and rang a loud 23 on the Equinox. A lot old soda and liquor bottle caps hit 23 and 24 but this sounded louder and crisper than a cap and I had a feeling it was going to be something good.
After leaving there, I went to an older baseball field close to home. This was my first time there. The field didnt produce much except for some deep memorials, so I moved towards an old scaffolding/defunct sign. Making my way there, along the edge of the field, I got a bouncy 31. That ended up being the 1942-S Washington with a memorial stuck to it leaving a mark on the face. Also in the hole was a 1956 Rosie dime.
I circled that spot and made my way to the scaffold/sign. I made my way around it and got to some soggy ground. That soggy ground ended up unloading 6 mercury dimes in a 2ftx2ft area. I got one more mercury dime nearby after that. My friend got 3 in the same general area. Afterwords the field shut off and we called it a day. The dimes were pretty stained from spending so many years in soggy ground, so I shined them up. They were all common dates, so I felt like shining this batch up. I believe the dates on the mercs were: 1917, 1920-S, 1940-S, 1941, 1941, 1942.
