Who is It Kache..
Doesn't seem to "match" Robert MORRISS' description of him...

Nice, which Beale is it.
Nice, which Beale is it.
Thought KK was about Thomas J. Beale; with a "description" of HIM in the BEALE PAPERS; on the OTHER hand, as "Just" asked... Thomas Beale, Sr. or Thomas Beale, Jr.?
If, Thomas Beale, Jr.... I can see why Julia Hancock didn't care for him. I am sure Thomas Beale, Sr. wasn't amused, and called Julia a "Ho". HER daddy George was not amused, and "retained" JB Risque (who WAS fond of Julia) to defend HER honor... BUT! Beale, Sr. & Risque had a DUEL in Fincastle, Va. Risque DID NOT "arm" his weapon; wasn't gonna hurt or kill Beale, Sr. (knowing the LEGAL implications); Risque was wounded... Julia went on to marry William Clark; Beale, Sr. FLED to New Orleans, and Jr. later followed; all THIS in a "nutshell" from Botetourt County history, etc. Will have to go back to Buchanan and Fincastle, Va. for MORE info. LATER!![]()
so there are two sets of Beales. Which Beale was dug up and moved.Judy Julia Hancock was married in 1808 to William Clark the duel would have happened on or before 1808. Julia was 15 years old in 1806. William Clark already had an eye for the beautiful girl in 1804 just before going on the Lewis and Clark Expedition, at least that was when they first met. Thomas Beale Sr. and Thomas Beale Jr of Fincastle in Botetourt County were both surveyors. Thomas Beale Jr. was also an attorney. These are not the Thomas Beale's you are looking for in New Orleans?
He stayed as the court documents in Fincastle reveal. He sold land there in 1824. I was up checking the records this past Wednesday May 30, 2012
Not sure. That's the picture they showed on the "Decoded" show about the DOI. As Rebel would say, "Dunno."![]()
I do remember seeing that guy on decoded. He needs to change the name of the show to Decoding, cause I haven't seen any thing decoded.
