New $10 bill??

Am I behind the times or did the new $10 bill just get into circulation?

It is marked with a 2004 date??

That's just the series number, which was the year they came out with the new revisions to thwart counterfitting. On bills that doesn't denote what year it was printed.

The only new bill I haven't seen is a dollar bill.Wonder when they are going to change it? I thought I heard something about it but I don't remember.

There is a pamphlet at my bank telling of a change on the $10 bill adding color like they did with the $20 bill. I'll get one and post for you if you like?

The BoE (Bureau of Engraving) has no plans to give a facelift to the $1 bill. The lowly $1 is not a frequent target of counterfeiters.
