I went to one of the new tobacco fields today that I recently got permission to hunt. The tobacco had been cut and the farmer's help was plowing the field when I got there. I took a quick walk across the first field but I didn't want to get the way of them working so I left. I will go back after the rain comes thru Wednesday and settles everything down. I did find this unusual piece. It looks like it may have started out as a point but ended up a graver??? Any ideas as to what it might be?

a multi purpose tool, nice one too. hold it to use it in different ways and see what part would be in use.

Nice little tool looks to be definitely a graver we find those like that down here sometimes and called them pistol grips.
It looks like a couple notches were made to create a graver spur that got used up and the new one was started on the different part

Interesting find I do see 2 spokeshaves on it. Looks like Hornstone is the lithic. Im hoping to get some rain Thursday don't take it all save some for me :)
