Need to Replace Blower

Rob, Thanks so much for clarifying things. I thought that rocks could be damaging to the tires also. I guess deflating tires is a way of getting unstuck, if you are not too dug in, but after that, my thought of somehow re-inflating the tires is something you need to have. I wonder if those plug in compressors can inflate a tire up to 35 pounds out in the field?

Thanks for the help. I PM'd you this morning also. Caley

They will, I use a cheap one and I've brought my tires up to 65psi without a problem, it just takes a little bit of time... Of course the smaller the tire, the quicker it goes.

Rob, Got in contact with Gold Tramp. Apparently he's very busy, and cannot escort me out with him.

So, for right now, I am pretty much limited to stopping at the bluff on Gold Crown Road, just before it drops into the wash, or going straight and stopping where I believe the road is washing out around that drain aqueduct pipe, and then walking in with bucket and sifter screen, get a few buckets full of material, and then take it back home to pan. Doubt I will find anything. The area around there is probably well dug out. Caley

Caley, I spoke with Herb and your on his radar. I've got some riffle tray cons from my last drywashing trip you can have to pan out that should have some fines. Pm me where to ship and I'll take care of it Monday

HP, Yes, Herb sounds very busy, and I thank him for the time he took to talk via email. Maybe someday we can get together, when he isn't up to his neck in work.

Thanks so much for the offer, but that is your material you worked so hard for, and I could not accept that. It's just the way I am. I've done dry washing, and I know just how hard it is to just get a few hundreds of a gram for all that work.

I've looked at satellite maps. Sometime next week I will do a recon mission. I will take the Gold Crown bypass road that is to the west, an then link up to it. Hopefully the one major wash going up to the fork on the road isn't impassible. It usually was ok as long as you kept moving, and took the route where you see the tire tracks. From there I will head up to the fork and go left until I get to that pipe that crosses the road. After five years, I imagine it isn't passable any more. I will stop there and walk around to see what I can see. I believe there are a few digs in the area, though as I remember, they weren't significant. If I find one, I will pick up some material to look at. Caley
