Need some tips for using Sea Hunter Mark II

Just got a brand new Mark II, still in the box, going to Destin next month for vacation. I live in central Mississippi so normally do not water hunt, need some tips on using the Mark II along the beach, appreciate any info.

Be ready to dig a lot of trash ( iron ) and be ready to dig deep; dig everything if you want
rings or gold. don't use DISC. LOW and SLOW is the way to go.

Start learning the detector the way the manual states and learn from there. Get a large scoop as you will dig deep holes..

Howdy from Puerto Rico: As the partner XT says you will get iron and if you do use disc. just play with the numbers as you learn what is a go for it and what is a no,no.I like to cancel bottlecaps they are a pest on my beaches I know I won't get nickels but I knock out this trash item.I love standard mode because I adore the loud blast or semi blast going thru my headphone that tells me dig in between the little constant dinging.I have tryed the discrete when I get a little dingy in my brain from the dinging sound.This mode will give you no sound until you hit a target hope this helps.
