I found this spoon Saturday on a cliff overlooking a beach. Silver plated obviously, but I can't seem to find much info on the SHEFFIELD A.1. PLATE mark (other than a few pictures). Most examples I've found have MADE IN U.S.A. or similar stamped on it as well, but this one doesn't. Just wondering if this is English or American and a possible date range. Other than the opinion that it's English, I've heard nothing additional from the other places where I posted this, which is unusual.

Length is 6 1/2"
Bowl diameter is 1 7/8"

Thanks, any idea of an age based on the mark or the characteristics of the spoon?
