Need some help with a button ID please

one piece, traces of gold gild on front, 18.2mm, no backmark .... any ideas?

I thought it was a turkey sporting button until I cleaned it. Don't dare clean it any more.

Image reminds me of Queen Elizabeth I or one of those earlier Queens ??

1) It might be Queen Elizabeth the 1st. The style of button looks early 19th century.. a very early find for your side of the pond.

2) I agree . Late 18th to early 19th century due to the costume and hair design of the woman. Great find and i`d imagine quite an "old" find in US soil.
