Well I found this about 8 in into the ground where there used to be a couple old cabins from 1700's. I'm not sure if this is hand-carved or not when I look at it I can tell it's not symmetrical and there is imperfections. I'm not sure if everything was that way back in the day or what. It looks to have some gold Gilt still on it. And it seems to have some words at the bottom though they're so worn out I can't read them. I tried to get some close up pictures of the writing see if anyone else could identify it so good luck. 20171007_232819.jpg20171007_233215.jpg20171007_232941.jpg

Upon closer inspection I realize that there was a thin layer of dirt that was possibly disguising some of the gilt that was still on it. I completely cleaned it and now realize that there is a whole lot of gilt still on it. It looks really yellow in the pictures but when you see it in person it almost has a white gold / silver look to it. Any ideas?
