✅ SOLVED Need Identification of a Bayonet

This has been handed down through a friends family and he would like some information on it. There is something written on the top edge of the bayonet and it looks French. At the end of the writting is 1881 (Sorry I cut the 81 off in the picture).

Low end of the scale $100.00 on up to about $300.00 depends on how bad someone wants it. Always remember it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. With documentation as to who brought it back etc, the price can go some where in the high-end.
