I dug this in Rhode Island in an area with a lot of old stone walls which I believe date back to at least the late 1700s. First time at this spot and only managed to dig a few targets. I dug a small ox shoe, a horseshoe, some shotgun shells and this lead item. The lead is holed on two sides and has bits of leather still in the holes. The lead has a nice white patina to it. I’ve never dug anything like it, figured I’d post it and see if anyone has any ideas on what it could be. Thanks for looking.
