Typical of early South Carolina milita buckle . Dug near Charleston. Not sure if real as I don't believe it is made of brass as the only examples I can find are.

Great Save of the South Carolina militia belt plate. This is a pretty rare one. This would be quite an addition to any display, and would deserve center stage. What a personal piece of History. Well Done and Thanks for sharing this with us.
