Need help with axehead

Was working around an old church today with my AT Pro and found this. It was deep, so deep I almost left it because it was under a big root but I'm glad I pulled it up now. Anyone have any idea how old it might be? Thanks!

As far as the pattern goes its a mortise axe head, and more specifically a turpentine (boxer) axe head. These were used for framing houses or log cabins, post and beam type stuff. BoxingTurpentinePattern4.jpg (image)
