Found this pin at a park that was started in 1904. It was down between 7 & 8" I think it could be from WW1 or WW2 but don't know. I would appreciate any help with history, age or ID. Used the nickel just so you can get an approximate size. Thank you as always for any help. MackDog

Looks like WWI. England, USA, France

The two blue stars may mean it is a Mother's Pin for a family with two sons in the Army.

Actually WW2 era, "Allied Forces" mother's pin, two sons serving in the European Theater. I found the exact pin online with no information, I think these were a PX purchase but that's a guess on my part. It's a really nice on and I don't know that I've seen another one before yours.

The "Blue Star Mothers Club" was founded in Flint Michigan in January of 1942, so the pin can't be older than that. They are still around, and now I'm thinking the pin could have been something they gave out o members. You might want to contact them directly and see if they have any info on it.

Blue star mothers, WWII honoring mothers of those who served. Each star stands for a child in the military, and a gold star indicates her son was killed in action.
