need help with ace 250

I don't know why I can't find any silver.Ive dug at what seemed like good places and all I get is clad today about 1.50 (I know that isn't all bad)I use a ace 250.Just today I started using all metal mode and that seemed to work OK.I was wondering what other people set there ace at to find all the cool stuff posted here.Thanks and H.H.

Wow! You've received all kinds of tips. You're probably so confused you don't know which way to turn. You can see there is no one single answer. Everybody has their own opinion. I only know the Ace is a great machine, and it can and will find silver and other oldies. It takes time and patience, but the better you learn your machine, the more it will reward you. Some people will go out and instantly find oldies. Others will spend hours and hours without finding anything worthwhile. But the odds are in your favor. The more you hunt, the better chance you have of finding something old. Research is important, but luck and perseverance is a big part, too. I've found a Morgan silver dollar, walking liberty half dollar, several silver dimes, IH and wheats with mine. The good finds will come! Hang in there.
