I found this sat in a field with an old homesite where I've pulled several LC's,seated,FE,IH's and a 2 center. I thgt it was another largie but it has crossed lines on it like it could be cut into 8's. The lines are raised not cut so it had to be in the die. It's the same size as a largie and I can see something on it but can't make it out. Hope you can see the lines in the pic. I gave it a hot perox bath, was'nt real sure how long to leave it in? What would be something else to try to clean it? It has'nt seen water yet. ANY IDEA'S? THANX so much for lookin... HH

Thanx all of you for tryin but that's not it. Look real close and you can see the lines extend from top to bottom and side to side and also make an X edge to edge.Once again THANX for all the great idea's... HH

I know, you know this type of Canadian Token, I have seen it a few times, no idea where to start, but you will kick yourself on this one...(once IDed)

Edit: I didn't realize there was a 2nd page... until i posted this. I'd say there's a good chance that's it. Funny even though I posted the one I did earlier, I've had this other European coin floating around in my brain and I can't quite grab the thought of what it is... and think it distorted my thinking because I always kept going back to it, and obviously missing this. The dumb part is I'd one of these a few months ago with probably even less detail.

I'll be on my regular coin seeking voyages soon where I scroll through quite a few hundreds a week, so at some point I am pretty sure I will see it, or at least other possibilities. As I said I sort of have an image of something European in my mind but it's not coming to me what it is. Just don't make it worse than it is because at some point you'll want to compare again.
